Iselt and Lillie Buechmann

He is preceded in death by
his wife Lydia and survived by
sons Doyle Iselt and wife

Kathy, daughter Sandra
Holub and husband Jim,
brother Romeo Iselt and wife

great-grandchildren.

Arthur Oliver Williams, Jr., 85, passed
away Sunday, June 25, 2006 in the
Veteran’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.  
He was born February 6, 1921 in
Raymondsville, Texas to Arthur O.
Williams, Sr. and Josephine Garcia
Williams.  He is survived by his wife
Frances, Sons Larry James Williams
and wife Brenda, Lonnie Ray Williams,
Robert Stanley Williams, Michael
Arthur Williams; daughters Shirley Ann
Matalka and husband Michael, Linda
Marie Hull and husband Richard;
brother Bill Williams and seven
grandchildren.  A vigil will be held

and a funeral mass will be held Friday,
July 7, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St.
Katharine Drexel Church in Hempstead
with Father James Burkart officiating.

Sandoval
Clarence E. “Jack” King, 82, of
Hempstead, Texas passed away
Friday, July 7, 2006.  He was born May
7, 1924 in Corsicana, Texas to Lonnie
King and Annie Laura Karnes King.  
Jack was a Hempstead City Judge for
twelve years and founded King
Insurance Agency in Hempstead in the
early 1980’s.  He was a long time
member of the Hempstead Church of
Christ.  He is preceded in death by his
parents, Lonnie and Annie King and
brothers Arlee and Norman King.  He is
survived by his wife Florence,
daughter Nita Lewis and husband
David, son Jesse King and wife Sue of
Lucedale, MS, six grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren and a host of
nieces and nephews.  Visitation:  
Monday, July 10, 2006 at McWilliams

Texas passed away Monday, July 10,
2006 in an auto accident.  He was born
November 14, 1943 to Lee Sandoval,
Sr. and Mae Andrews Sandoval in
Hempstead, Texas.  He is survived by
his wife Darlene, sons: Michael
Sandoval, Anthony Sandoval, Gilbert
Stuart, and Reagan Anthony
Sandoval; brothers:  J.C. Sandoval,

Dominguez
Helen Virginia Sartain, 88, formerly of
Hempstead, Texas, passed away
Tuesday, July 25, 2006 in Bellville,
Texas.  She was born September 10,
1917 in Franklin, Texas to Walter
Duncan and Addie Gilmore Duncan.  
She is survived by her son Kelly
Sartain and wife Doris, daughter Lynn
Roberts and husband Doug, sister
Irene Duncan, five grandchildren and 8
great-grandchildren.  A private family
graveside service was held Thursday,
July 27, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at
Hempstead Cemetery under the
direction of McWilliams Funeral Home,

Ernesto Dominguez, 38, of Hempstead,
Texas passed away Wednesday,
September 6, 2006 at his home.  He
was born in Querethaio, Mexico July,
21, 1968 to Ernesto Dominguez and
Consuelo Florez Dominguez.  He is
survived by his wife Ma de Lourdes,
son Bryan Dominguez, daughters
Gabriela And Noeni Dominguez, father
Ernesto Dominguez, stepmother
Esthlee Dominguez, brothers Daniel,
Israel, and Jose Dominguez and one
grandchild.  Visitation:  Friday,

Charles Lynn Irvin, 62, of
Hempstead, Texas passed away
Sunday, September 24, 2006 at his
home.  He was born June 19, 1944
in McNairy County, Tennessee to
Harve Irvin and Pauline Morris Irvin.  
He retired from Southwestern Bell
Telephone where he had worked for
many years.  He is preceded in
death by his son, Charles Lynn Irvin,
Jr. and is survived by his wife Helen,
son Landis Irvin and wife Michelle,
daughter Elizabeth Ann Stravoski
and husband Jason, brothers Danny
Irvin and wife Barbara and Bill Irvin
and wife Iris, sisters Inez Brewer and
Helen Nichols, and three
grandchildren:  Sean and Eileen
Irvin and Rhett Stravoski. Services
were held Tuesday, September 26,
2006 at 2:00 p.m. at McWilliams
Funeral Home, Hempstead.  Burial
followed at Hempstead Cemetery
with Pastor Mike Fraley officiating.

August “Boss” Laskoskie, 82, of
Hempstead, Texas passed away
Friday, September 15, 2006 at his
home.  He was born January 4, 1924 in
Orchard, Texas to John and Catherine
Laskoskie.  He married Dorothy
Kujawa on June 1, 1949.  August is
preceded in death by a great-
grandson Joseph Samuel Mlcak and
survived by his wife of 57 years,
Dorothy; sons:  Thomas Laskoskie and
wife Mary, Eugene Laskoskie and wife
Diane; daughters:  Dorothea Henry
and fiancé Glenn Meinecke, Linda
Rogers and husband Jerry, Helen
Gurka and husband Alvin, and Peggy
Laake and husband Robert; brothers:  
Albert, Alfred, and Louis Laskoskie;
sister Amelia Koneiczy; grandchildren:

Doris Elizabeth Clemens, 58, of
Hempstead, passed away Saturday,
November 4, 2006 at her home.  She
was born November 20, 1947 in
Washington D.C. to James Edward
Fritter and Ruth Elizabeth Lynch
Fritter.  She is survived by her
husband Mason Clemens, Jr., son
Joseph V. Hepner, Jr., daughter Lisa
Marie Guerrero, brothers James,
Lewis, and Charles Fritter, sister Carol
Clemens and three grandchildren.

William Charles Devine, 68, of
Hempstead, Texas passed away
Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at his
home.  He was born March 28, 1938 to
Virgil Devine and Hazel Watts Devine
in Trafford, Alabama.  He is survived
by his wife Margaret, son William
Devine II with wife Courtney,
daughters:  Della Hengel with husband
Wayne,  and Heather Devine, and
brothers:  Carroll Devine, Johnny
Devine, and Jerry Devine with wife
